Need help w/ website design?

Building a new insurance related website. Going to have my blog links, etc, and also links to places where you can get quotes, learn about state minimums, etc. http://insurnace.endofinternet.org can someone recommend some design tips? Do i need a logo instead of text in my header? What about the colors? Should I re-do my css??
